This year we started our roadbike season on Sicily. The bikes we have hired in the place. We have combined the organized trips in the group with our own trips. With the organizer FriendsOnBikes.de we were very satisfied.
The weather was the whole time very nice, so we could drive every day.
At the end I have collected 934km with 10850 altitude difference. It should be enough as a basis for the saison 2010.
Sicily we can warmly recommend and not just for the roadbike trips.
We were in the neighborhood of Siracusa. The people are very nice and helpful. The prices are also ok. And for you, cyclists, there is just a little traffic!
The car drivers are very considerate to the cyclists.
